Puerto Rico Beach Destination Wedding
When I first video chatted with Carrie and Matt about their Rincon, Puerto Rico beach wedding adventure, I knew we were a great match immediately. Carrie explained that they were planning an intimate micro wedding with a small group of family and friends and that they wanted “authentic and genuine” photos that would “tell the story” of their wedding weekend. This was music to my ears.
Rincon is a dreamy beach town on the northwest corner of the Island of Puerto Rico. Mango trees are plentiful, the rum is delicious, and thanks to the deep Puerto Rican Trench, the beaches in this corner of the island are home to some of the best surfing in the Caribbean. The entire wedding group stayed at the Villa on Maria’s Beach, a gorgeous luxury beachfront property and an epic setting for Carrie and Matt’s sunset beach ceremony.
My team and I were lucky to spend a few days photographing with Carrie and Matt, documenting their Puerto Rico island adventures and tropical destination wedding. Here are a few images from their wedding story.
