My team and I photographed with Sachin and Nitu over the course of 5 incredible days for their wedding on the Caribbean island of Aruba. We did two ambitious adventure portrait sessions all over the island. We photographed an amazing welcome party with over 400 guests. And we photo’d on the wedding day for over 19 hours including a full Hindu ceremony on the beach and a western style evening reception.

We photographed with Benita and Ben over an entire weekend. The welcome party was at @thestaronpark in Alameda. The wedding ceremony was in the Madrone site in the majestic redwood forests of Roberts Regional Park in Oakland. And the reception was at Hong Kong East Ocean in Emeryville.

Benita and Ben wrote this really nice review recently: “We worked with Drew for our wedding and we had the best experience! He is an extremely talented photographer and the nicest person! Drew made everything so easy and stress free. I am very very awkward when it comes to taking photos. But Drew was able to capture the best versions of us. We were able to select the best pictures for a photo book for both sets of parents as gifts (and of course one book for ourselves). All the books turned out wonderful and are very high quality. If we had another event that I needed a photographer for, we would not hesitate to use Drew again!”

I met Carmen and Barrett while I was working on a photo project + surfing in Costa Rica. They were traveling on holiday from their home in Vancouver, BC, Canada. We became fast friends + surfed a ton + ate some incredible food + put up with a surly beach hostel owner + adventured for a few days. A few months later they emailed me and asked me to tell the photo story of their wedding celebration at @rockinyranch in Austin, Texas. I met Carmen and Barrett while I was working on a photo project + surfing in Costa Rica. They were traveling on holiday from their home in Vancouver, BC, Canada. We became fast friends + surfed a ton + ate some incredible food + put up with a surly beach hostel owner + adventured for a few days. A few months later they emailed me and asked me to tell the photo story of their wedding celebration at @rockinyranch in Austin, Texas. I highly recommend checking out this rustic farm and ranch. It’s a gawwwwgeous spot for outdoor weddings ~ 20 minutes drive northwest from San Rafael. They also have some great live music @ranchonicasio
